• Where is the lock's ON button?

  • Why / must I switch on my lock?

  • I am pressing the lock's ON button, but the LED doesn't light up or switch on.

  • I am pressing the scale's ON button, but it doesn't switch on.

  • How do I connect my scale and my lock to my smartphone

If you are connecting the scale and the lock for the first time, consult the FAQs in the "first use" section. If you already have the application, press the "ON" button on the scale or the lock and then follow the instructions in your application. The connection is established automatically - if this does not happen, simply touch the screen.
  • How do I know if my suitcase is properly connected to my smartphone?

You can check this by referring to the colour of the three main buttons on the screen of your app: open, weigh, locate An opaque white colour on the button indicates that the scale or lock are properly connected. Conversely, a grey translucent colour on one of these buttons indicates that the electronic module is not connected (for your information, the "Locate" button will always be white and connected by default). If your scale and your lock are disconnected, the status of your case beside the photo indicates "unavailable". In this case, begin by pressing anywhere on the screen of your application, which will attempt to reconnect with the lock or scale. You can perform this operation in case of disconnection (e.g. as a result of distance...). If the connection cannot be established (buttons always greyed out, no sign of connection), check that your scale or your lock are already switched on by pressing their ON buttons and reactivating the connection from your application (your lock indicates a connection attempt with a white flashing LED, while your scale shows a flashing Bluetooth logo on the LCD screen). For your information, when you switch on your lock and your scale, you have a maximum of 60 seconds to establish the connection with your smartphone, so as to conserve power. If necessary, close and then re-open your application, then switch your lock and scale on again within the following 60 seconds.
  • I installed 2 suitcases and can only see one on my screen

  • If I get more than 20 m from and disconnect from my PLUGGAGE, must I start the process for connecting to my smartphone over again?

Following a disconnection, your PLUGGAGE will attempt to automatically reconnect the scale within the following 60 seconds. If the connection between the scale and your smartphone is not re-established within this period of time, you must switch your scale on again by pressing the ON button if you wish to re-connect (the Bluetooth logo must flash to indicate that it is searching for a connection). As for your lock, it will reconnect automatically when you return to within 20 metres, thanks to its patented system. Press anywhere on your application screen (where the 3 buttons are) if necessary.
  • How do I know if my lock or scale are still switched on?

    Please consult the question above.
  • How long will my PLUGGAGE remain switched on?

With a view to maintaining discretion and security and to save power, the screen on your scale goes to sleep after 30 seconds of non-use and the LED on your lock stops flashing as soon as the connection with your smartphone is successfully established or following an authorised opening (with the exception of the red flashing LED, which can inform you of a low battery level). If you are connected to your smartphone, your lock and your scale will remain switched on for as long as the application wants it to. The colour of the "lock" and "weigh" buttons on your screen indicates the status of the connection, white meaning connected and grey disconnected. If you are not connected, your scale does, however, remain switched on for 5 minutes and your lock switches off as soon as possible (depends on the sleep/aeroplane mode and the use of the fingerprint sensor). If you want assurance that your lock is still switched on, press the "ON" button for around half a second. The white LED on your lock will flash 3 times to indicate that it is already switched on (sleep mode or connected). The LED will flash for longer if your have just switched it on or if you have activated a function associated with the digital fingerprints. If you want assurance that your scale is still switched on, you can press the "ON" button for around half a second, or pull on the handle. Your scale's LCD screen will switch on again. If you hear a "beep" after having pressed the "ON" button, this indicates that your scale was switched off and has just switched on again.
  • How do I switch off my lock?

You have two options. We recommend that you switch off your lock from the screen of your application, using the "Switch off my PLUGGAGE" icon at the bottom of the screen. This function will switch off your lock AND your scale simultaneously. You can also press the "ON" button on your lock directly for 3 seconds, until the LED stays white and stays lit for 2 seconds, before switching off.

You have two options. We recommend that you switch it off from the screen of your application, using the "Switch off my PLUGGAGE" icon at the bottom of the screen. This function will switch off your lock AND your scale simultaneously. If you only want to switch off your scale, you can press the "ON" button on your suitcase directly for 3 seconds.
