    Your manual 3-digit lock must be scrambled in order to ensure proper locking. Digital finger prints must be recorded on the lock of your PLUGGAGE and not on your smartphone. Close the protective cover covering the digital fingerprint reader again after each use. Your reader will start up and switch off automatically.
  • If I close the cover on my fingerprint reader, does this disconnect my lock from my smartphone?

    No. If you are already connected to your smartphone, the connection is maintained.
  • How do you activate/switch on the fingerprint reader? Should I first press the ON button?

    Your fingerprint reader switches on as soon as you open the protective cover. It is important that you open the cover all the way down! Wait until the LED flashes white before placing your finger. Make sure to close the cover properly after use to protect the sensor from rainwater and impact. The fingerprint reader will switch off, which will enable battery power to be conserved.
  • How do I record my digital fingerprints?

    Consult the video below or on the main screen of your application via "?", under the "Fingerprint lock" section. For added convenience, you should also refer to the meaning of the LEDs in this section.
  • What is the meaning of the LEDs when recording a digital fingerprint?

    "The main LEDs are: Slow white flashes: your lock is switched on. Fast white flashes: your lock is ready to record a new digital fingerprint (after you have pressed on the inside white button)

    Continuous white flashes: the new digital fingerprint has been successfully recorded.

    You may also encounter the following situations:

    1 red flash: indicates that the new fingerprint has already been recorded or that your finger is incorrectly positioned.

    3 red flashes: 10 consecutive recording attempts failed. The function for recording a new fingerprint is locked for 2 mins or until your lock switches on again.

    3 red flashes then 1 white flash: all of your fingerprints are erased (consult the corresponding FAQs)"

  • I pressed on the white inside button to record my fingerprints, but it isn't working.

    In order that your recording request is taken into account, you must press the inside white button for between 1 and 2 seconds, and then release your finger. However, make sure that you do not press down for more than 5 seconds, as this will result in all of your fingerprints being erased. Once you have pressed the white inside button, you have 30 seconds to record your fingerprint. Note, after 10 consecutive failed attempts, the recording of new fingerprints is prohibited for 2 minutes or until the lock switches on again. It should be noted that it is not necessary for you to remove and reposition your finger should recording fail, as simply sliding your finger to the centre of the fingerprint sensor will suffice. Read up on the meaning of the LEDs as described below for added convenience.
  • How many fingerprints can I record?

    You can record up to 30 fingerprints.
  • How do I know how many fingerprints I have left? How do I track and name my fingerprints?

    Begin by adding your PLUGGAGE to your application. Connect your suitcase and your smartphone application. Next select the "Parameters" icon from the main screen in your application, then on "Lock" and then "Digital fingerprints". From this screen you can access all of your already recorded fingerprints, name them and erase all of your fingerprints with a single click.
  • I have successed in recording my first fingerprint, but none after that

    For each new digital fingerprint your must begin the entire fingerprint installation recording procedure over again. Pay attention to the LED notifications.
  • How do you delete digital fingerprints?

    "Note, you can erase all of the recorded fingerprints in a single operation. You have 2 options:

    Either directly on the lock of your PLUGGAGE. Open the lining to access the inside. Identify the white button used to record fingerprints. Press for 5 seconds. The LED will flash 3 times red and then once white to confirm the deletion of all recorded fingerprints.

    Or via your application. Connect your suitcase and your application. Next select the ""Parameters"" icon in the main screen in your application, then on ""Lock"" and then ""Digital fingerprints"". From this screen you can erase your fingerprints. "

  • Can I erase just one or all of the fingerprints?

    You can only erase all of the fingerprints at once, and not one at a time.
  • How do I lock my padlock or my zips?

    Your zips are automatically locked the moment they are inserted into the lock. Note: for the padlock to be properly locked, make sure that your 3-digit manual code has been well scrambled.
  • What is the meaning of the LEDs when you unlock using a fingerprint?

    "Slow white flashes: your lock is switched on and your protective cover is open (push the cover all the way down). The lock waits until a digital fingerprint is read before it unlocks. If your finger is already positioned on the reader, remove it and then position it once more, or slide it to position it different on the reader.

    Continuous white flashes: your digital fingerprint has been properly recognised (your lock will open).

    Red flashes: the digital fingerprint has been rejected because it is not recognised. If necessary, try again.

    Less frequently, you may observe:

    3 red flashes: 10 consecutive unlocking attempts failed. The fingerprint unlocking function is locked for 2 mins or until your lock switches on again.

    5 red flashes: the use of digital fingerprints is prohibited (batteries too low or 10 consecutive attempts failed).

    1 red flash following Bluetooth connection or opening with digital fingerprint: battery level low."

  • When I place my finger on the reader to unlock it nothing happens and the LED continues to flash.

    The reader has not recognised the presence of your finger. Place it nice and flat and right at the centre. Note that if the LED is not flashing, your batteries may be flat!
  • When I place my finger on the reader top unlock, the LED is red.

    The digital fingerprint used it not the right one, that is, you have not yet recorded this fingerprint, or it has been badly recorded. You must record your fingerprint once more. Please consult the instructions in the manual or in the "?" section, from the main screen of your application, and then under "Fingerprint lock".

  • Where is the fingerprint reader on my lock?

    At the end of your 'first use' paper manual, you will find photos showing where the various modules of your suitcase are located. You can also access visuals in your application, in the "?" section, which is located on the main screen of your application, and then under "Fingerprint lock".
