• Note

your manual 3-digit lock must be scrambled in order to ensure proper locking. Consider adjusting your 3-digit code when installing your suitcase
  • How do I switch off my lock?

You have two options. We recommend that you switch off your lock from the main screen of your application, using the "Switch off my suitcase" icon at the bottom of the screen. This function will switch off your lock AND your scale simultaneously. You can also press the "ON" button on your lock directly for 3 seconds, until the LED stays white and stays lit for 2 seconds, before switching off.
  • Why must I switch on my lock?

In order to preserve your battery power as much as possible, your lock switches off when you do not need it (22 hours after a spontaneous disconnection). When you want to use it (connection to smartphone or unlocking by fingerprint), you must first switch it on.
  • For how long does my lock switch on?

"If you haven't connected your lock to your smartphone, you therefore only use the fingerprint sensor function: your lock switches off after use, when you close the protective cover on the fingerprint reader. If you have connected your lock to your smartphone: your lock remains switched on for as long as you are connected to your smartphone and will only switch off 22 hours after the Bluetooth disconnects, that is, in the event of an unexpected loss of Bluetooth signal as a result of distance, for example (not programmed to Aeroplane mode). When you switch on your lock, the LED only flashes for one minute so as to remain discreet and conserve battery power.

By contrast, your lock will switch off automatically after one minute in the following cases (and when you are connected to your smartphone): deactivation of your smartphone's Bluetooth mode, switching off or setting your smartphone to Aeroplane mode, closing of the DELSEY app on your smartphone. To switch your lock on again, you must therefore press the ON button for a split second."

  • I am pressing the ON button, but the LED doesn't light up or switch on.

Begin by checking that the batteries are properly installed and charged.

Then check that you are pressing in the right place, that, is on the correct ON button. To switch on your lock, the ON button must be pressed down for around half a second, which is intended to prevent foreign objects from switching on your lock accidentally. You must therefore make sure that you are pressing the button for long enough. Note: a long press for more than 3 seconds will switch off your lock. When you switch on your lock, the LED only flashes for one minute so as to remain discreet and conserve battery power. However, your lock is still active and switched on after this minute. To check it, you can then press the ON button for around half a second, which will make the LED flash.

  • The lock LED is not flashing, is my lock switched off?

For safety and to save power, if your batteries are still properly charged, the lock LED switches off if you are already connected to your smartphone or if you have finished the operation by digital fingerprint. In the case that only your digital fingerprint sensor is used (without connection to your smartphone), your lock will switch off after use. In the case that you are using your lock conencted to your smartphone, your lock will remain switched on for as long as the connection with your smartphone is operational.
  • How do I see if my lock is switched on and connected (see above)?

    Consult the "On/Off" section.
  • I have inserted the 2 locks into the lock, how do I lock my lock?

Your zips are automatically locked once inserted into the padlock, however, you must make sure that your manual 3-digit lock is well scrambled.
  • How do I unlock if my batteries are flat?

You have a 3-digit code beneath the cover, beside the two zips. Consult the tutorial available via the main screen of your application, under the "?" section, and then "Connected lock", or consult the tutorial below.

  • How can I add additional security to avoid accidentally unlocking my luggage via my application.

Consult the "Parameters" section via the main screen of your application, then on "Lock" and then "Protection code". Also go to this function to disable the mode.
  • What does the TSA opening detection function consist of?

When the airport customs authorities in the United States opens your case using the security pass (using the part of the lock intended for this purpose), your PLUGGAGE records this opening and warns you the next time you connect.
  • When will my case warn me of openings by the airport authorities using the TSA security feature?

When your suitcase has been opened using the TSA security feature, you will receive notification when you reconnect to your case with your smartphone and your DELSEY application. You can also consult the history of openings.
  • Where is the TSA opening tracking?

You can consult the opening history from the main screen of your PLUGGAGE, by selecting the icon at the centre of the top bar. From this last icon, select the weighing history or the TSA security history.
  • Does my suitcase warn me of all types of case opening?

Your suitcase only warns you (upon reconnection) of openings using the TSA pass.
  • The time indicated for the TSA opening seems strange to me.

For improved tracking of openings during international travel, the TSA openings are always stated in the UTC or GMT 0 time zones. For your information, GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time.
  • Where is the lock's ON button?

Consult the tutorial available via the main screen of your application, under the "?" section and then "Connected lock", or consult the video below.
